Privacy policy
Effective date: September 7, 2026.
Information accessed
This policy covers Home AI Search. The Morgan Home Portal also links to independently hosted services, including Job Search Desk and Claude apps. Their accounts, storage, and data handling are separate from Home AI Search and are governed by the applicable providers’ policies. Following a link does not by itself import those apps’ records into Home AI Search. Claude sign-in is not a promise that a linked app stores its data only on the owner’s Mac.
With the account owner’s authorization, Home AI Search accesses Google Drive file names, identifiers, folder references, modification times, source links, and supported document content. It also accesses the authorized Notion pages and related metadata. OAuth credentials and integration tokens are stored locally to maintain authorized connections.
Purpose and processing
The app uses this information to download or export supported documents, build a searchable index, retrieve relevant passages, and generate answers for the owner. Document indexing and AI inference run on the owner’s Mac using local software. The configured document-search workflow does not send document content to a hosted AI model API for inference.
Storage and access
Downloaded documents, extracted text, embeddings, source metadata, configuration, and chat history may be stored on the owner’s Mac. Backups may also be stored on the owner’s USB drive and private network storage. Connection credentials may be included in those backups. Access is intended for the owner through authenticated applications and owner-controlled devices.
Sharing and use limitations
The app does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train a general-purpose AI model. Google user data is used to provide the owner’s requested document-search functionality. Google and Notion receive the API requests needed to access their respective services. Hosting of these public information pages is separate from the private document-search service.
Home AI Search’s use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
Imported copies, indexes, chats, and dated backups are retained until the owner removes them. Revoking a connection stops future authorized access but does not automatically erase previously imported copies or backups. Deleting a source document does not necessarily delete existing local copies. The owner can request or perform removal from the local app, index, and backup locations.
Controls and contact
The owner can revoke Google access through Google Account third-party connections and revoke Notion access through Notion connection settings. For questions or removal requests, contact ryan.morgan@morganra99.com.
Public website visits
These information pages use first-party, cookie-free aggregate measurement to count page views by date and page, along with broad device and referral categories. The analytics database does not store visitor IP addresses, full referral URLs, advertising identifiers, browser fingerprints, or raw user-agent strings. The hosting and network providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and secure the website. Following external links takes the visitor to separately operated services.
Changes
This policy will be updated if the app’s data practices change. Any new use requiring additional authorization will be presented to the owner before that use begins.
